fish soup with vegetables (sinigang na isda)




Ingredients:

1-2 whole fish (cleaned)
4 big ripe tomates (quartered)
1 medium size onion (quartered)
3-6 pcs of green chili pepper
4-6 Tbsp of fish sauce
tamarind powder
1 cup of raddish
10-20 pcs of okra
2 cups of spinach
5 cups of water

Procedure:

Boil water in a casserole
Add tomato and onion and continue boiling for 4 minutes
Add the fish and let it boil for 5 minutes
Add the tamarind powder and mix
Add the fish sauce and mix
Boil for 3 more minutes
Lower heat and add the raddish, okra and green chili pepper
Simmer for 2-3 minutes
Add the spinach, cover casserole and put off fire.
Ready to serve.

tuna with onion and egg



Ingredients:
1 can of tuna
2 beaten eggs
2 small chopped onions
salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp oil

Procedure:
Heat the oil in a pan.
Saute onion and add the tuna.
Add the tuna and stir.
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Steamed Fish

I haven't updated my food blog for quite a long time now. Well folks, I have decided to go on a fish and vegetables diet. And i have to make all my food as simple as possible. I will try my very best to post as many as I can. Hope you still find my recipes interesting though I know that it is really really quite basic :D

Here's a simple steamed fish, coated in mayonnaise and garnished with colorful veggies.
